The first french polo Tournament with prize money !

A new step towards professionalization: forthe first time in France, a polo tournament will offer a prize money to the two finalists teams of the Charity Cup which will be played onJune 30th. The international season of the Chantilly Polo Club will open on April to conclude in October, and in September with the nineteenth Open de France, which looks particularly promising this year...

For the 2019 season, the Chantilly Polo Club and its partners endowed the Charity Cup with €12,000 for the final (€ 8,000 to the winner and €4,000 to the finalist). Save the date: Three tournaments from May 11 to June 30, 2019, 50 days of games and the reappearance to Chantilly of the great Argentinian, French and European professionals.

This Charity Cup is traditionally played for ‘‘a good cause’’. This year, the association which will benefit from this day of generosity will be completely in accordance with the equestrian world since it is ‘‘Au-delà des pistes’’ (Beyond the tracks), whose goal is to convert the thoroughbreds ‘‘reformed’’, (no longer able for racing).

The action of ‘‘Au-delà des pistes’’ allows them to find to these young horses a second life in the equestrian sports: jumping, eventing, dressage, etc., including polo where they usually excel. A demonstration game of two chukkers will oppose only thoroughbreds trained at the Chantilly Polo Club during the last three years.

The summit of the French season!

Six days after the Gold Cups of Sotogrande and Deauville in August, the best polo in France will be back to Chantilly for the Open de France from September 7 to 22, followed by the FFP national Championships. Many prices and parties !

Women’s French Open (12/16 Goals) from September 17 to 22

French Open (14/16 Goals), Castel Trophy (6/8 Goals) and Captain Trophy (0/4 Goals) will all take place from September 7 to 22

The mixed French Open (16 goals) was born with this century. This is the most importanttournament played in Europe in this month of September. Around six teams will be struggling for a tournament spanning over three weeks. The Open de France games are always exciting, fast, usually fiercely contested (many matches endedwith a difference of one goal last year, sometimesduring the extra-chukker, sudden-death).

In 2018, DS AUTOMOBILES teamed up with the Female Polo and won the Women’s French Open.
In 2019, DS AUTOMOBILES becomes a partner of the Polo Club of Domaine de Chantilly and the Polo Open de France.
