....La saison de polo sur herbe – tant attendue – débute en avril avec un premier rendez-vous séduisant :
le Rallye d’Aumale et la Coupe du Rallye d’Aumale. Il s’agit d’un rassemblement de voitures anciennes, dont le point de ralliement final est le Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly. Ce Rallye au profit de l’Institut Curie, qui lutte contre le cancer pédiatrique, avait rassemblé 120 voitures de collections pour sa première édition en 2015, elles seront plus de 200 cette année ! La journée se termine par la première finale de la saison avec un terrain d’honneur entouré de ces magnifiques objets de collections. La rencontre de deux passions. Comme tous les événements du Polo Club, l’accès à cette journée est entièrement gratuit pour le public.

The long-awaited grass polo season begins in April with a seductive first date: The Aumale Rally and the Aumale Rally Cup. It is a gathering of old cars, whose final rallying point is the Polo Club of Chantilly. This Rally for the benefit of the Institut Curie, fighting against pediatric cancer, had gathered 120 collection cars for its first edition in 2015, there will be more than 200 this year! The day ends with the first final of the season with a field of honor surrounded by these magnificent cars. The encounter of two passions. Like all events of the Polo Club, access to this day is entirely free for the public.

....Treize tournois du 5 mai au 25 juin 2023 avec le retour à Chantilly des grands professionnels français et internationaux pour notamment les Coupe PGH, le Trophée Bourbon et la Charity Cup. En parallèle, le Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly accueillera la toute première édition de la Polo Nations Cup du 8 au 18 juin. Les femmes sont aussi à l’honneur puisqu’un tournoi féminin par mois est organisé sur cette période comme toute l’année à Chantilly !
Les matchs y sont d’une rapidité étonnante et l’on peut y découvrir parfois de grands talents argentins rencontrant nos meilleurs joueurs français.

....La perspective des Jeux olympiques de Paris 2024 a inspiré la Fédération française de polo (FFP) et le Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly : la Polo Nations Cup verra le jour en juin 2023 (du 8 au 18). Elle opposera, à un niveau de 12 goals, des équipes représentant une nation, une région du monde ou un état, sélectionnées par leurs fédérations avec un maximum de deux joueurs étrangers par équipe.
En 2024, cette Polo Nations Cup s’inscrira dans un ensemble d'épreuves hors programme officiel organisées dans la mouvance de Jeux olympiques de Paris.
Le polo fait partie depuis toujours de la famille olympique et la FIP est membre du Comité olympique international (CIO). Il fut une discipline officielle des Jeux olympiques à cinq reprises. Disputé pour la première fois aux Jeux d'été de 1900, il fut retiré du programme après les Jeux olympiques d'été de 1936 à Berlin. C’est une équipe mixte anglo-américaine qui avait remporté la première médaille d’or en 1900, puis la Grande-Bretagne à deux reprises (1908 et 1920) avant l’hégémonie argentine (1924 et 1936).
La Polo Nations Cup permettra peut-être de revenir progressivement à cette belle époque du polo aux Jeux olympiques, mais surtout d’attirer le grand public sur les bords des terrains pour poursuivre le développement du polo en France !

The prospect of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games has inspired the French Polo Federation (FFP) and the Chantilly Polo Club: the Polo Nations Cup will be held in June 2023 (from 8 to 18). It will oppose, at a 12-goal level, teams representing a nation and a region or a state selected by their federation with a maximum of two foreign players per team.
In 2024, this Polo Nations Cup will be part of the events held outside the official program organized in the wake of the Paris Olympic Games.
Polo has always been part of the Olympic family and the FIP is a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Polo has been an official discipline of the Olympic Games five times. First played at the 1900 Summer Olympics, it was dropped from the program after the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin. It was an Anglo-American team that won the first gold medal in 1900, then Great Britain twice (1908 and 1920) before Argentina took over (1924 and 1936).
The Polo Nations Cup will perhaps allow a gradual return to this beautiful era of polo at the Olympic Games, but above all to attract the public around the fields to continue to develop polo in France! ....

Après Deauville au mois d’août, le meilleur du polo de France revient à Chantilly pour l’Open de France Engel & Völkers (14/16 Goals) du 1er au 17 septembre suivi des compétions fédérales de la Fédération Française de Polo.
L’Open a vu le jour avec ce siècle. Il s’agit du plus important tournoi se jouant en Europe à cette époque. Seize équipes seront aux prises pour un tournoi à feuilletons s’étalant sur trois semaines. Les matchs de l’Open de France Engel & Völkers sont toujours palpitants, rapides et généralement âprement disputés.

Il y a un peu plus de dix ans maintenant, le tournoi phare du polo français a vu naître une petite soeur : l’Open de France féminin, réservé comme son nom l’indique, aux seules joueuses, de plus en plus nombreuses à travers la planète.
