J-7 avant la POLO RIDER CUP
La POLO RIDER CUP, sous l’égide de la Fédération Internationale de Polo (FIP), est l’ultime compétition internationale dédiée aux grands clubs de polo de la planète. La première édition se tiendra au Polo Club de Chantilly, du 10 au 20 juin 2021.
Dans la lignée de nombreux sports professionnels ayant réussi leur transition sportive et financière, l’idée qui sous-tend la création de la POLO RIDER CUP est de rassembler les meilleurs clubs du monde, avec un objectif de 16 clubs en 2022, afin de proposer une compétition internationale sur 10 jours, se jouant avec les mêmes règles et dans une seule et même installation.
L’histoire commence au Polo Club de Chantilly, l’un de plus grands centres européens de ce sport, mais cette compétition a pour vocation de « voyager » dans les plus grands clubs de la planète.
Aujourd’hui, et avant même sa première édition, d’aucuns estiment déjà que la POLO RIDER CUP est appelée à devenir un rendez-vous incontournable du calendrier international, et s’affirmera comme la Coupe du monde des clubs.
Pour cette première édition la POLO RIDER CUP sera diffusée dans un peu plus de 150 pays à travers le monde, ce qui est une première pour une compétition de polo.

POLO RIDER CUP 2021 The Polo Rider Cup, under the patronage of the International Polo Federation (FIP), is the ultimate international competition dedicated to the world’s greatest polo clubs. The first edition will be held at the Chantilly Polo Club, from June 10th to 21st, 2021.
Following the example of many professional sports that have successfully made the transition from sport to finance, the idea behind the creation of the Polo Rider Cup is to bring together the best clubs in the world, with a target of sixteen clubs in 2022. The concept is to offer a high level international competition, for ten days, played with the same rules and in a single club. The story begins at the Chantilly Polo Club, one of the largest European centers of the sport, but the competition is intended to «tour» the world’s largest clubs.
Today, and even before its first release, some people already believe that the Polo Rider Cup is destined to become an event not to be missed on the international calendar, and will become the World Cup for clubs.
The first edition of the Polo Rider Cup will be televised in more than 150 countries around the world, which is a first for a polo competition.
