ÉDITO POLO CLUB DE CHANTILLY

Chers Amis,

J’ai l’honneur d’avoir été nommé Président du Polo de Chantilly, il m’en revient maintenant la responsabilité de poursuivre l’idée de son fondateur, Patrick Guerant Hermès : en faire un haut lieu du polo français, alliant convivialité et fair-play.

Une de mes priorités concerne d’ailleurs la qualité des terrains qui ont fait la réputation du Club. Pendant l’intersaison, tout le staff du Polo et l’équipe de Philippe Perrier ont beaucoup travaillé sur leur entretien avec notre Green Keeper, et notamment le re-sablage complet des terrains Honneur 1, N°1, N°2 et PGH 1.

Ce mois de septembre s’annonce particulièrement riche, avec de nombreux tournois en marge de l’Open de France Paprec (du 7 au 22 Septembre ) et du Trophée Castel (6/8 goals). Pour la huitième année consécutive nous accueillerons aussi l’Open de France féminin (du 17 au 22 septembre ). Vous pourrez bien sûr suivre nos actualités via le compte Instagram du Club et les matchs de l’Open en direct sur PoloLine TV.

Cette visibilité s’inscrit dans notre désir d’encourager davantage la venue des équipes étrangères ; un poste va être créé afin de dédier une personne à leur accueil, pour répondre à leurs demandes, s’assurer de leur confort et du bien-être de leurs chevaux.

Mais le sport n’est rien sans la joie de se retrouver pour le célébrer, aussi, j’espère vous retrouver nombreux lors des Vendredis de Chantilly, les apéros polo en musique, qui auront lieu tous les vendredis de septembre pendant des matchs d’exhibition. Lors de l’Open, de nombreux exposants viendront animer le Village sportif, sans oublier le nouveau Tacos Bar placé au bord des terrains. Par ailleurs la nouvelle Orangerie nous permettra d’organiser plus régulièrement, et toute l’année, davantage d’événements et de réceptions de qualité, pour une nouvelle dynamique dans ce lieu unique.

Le dernier mot pour remercier nos fidèles sponsors, qui nous accompagnent dans la mise en place de ces événements, ainsi que tout le staff, les joueurs, et les fans du club qui le font vivre.

CHANTILLY POLO CLUB EDITO

Dear Friends,

I am honoured to be appointed as President of the Chantilly Polo Club. It is now my responsibility to promote the idea of its founder, Patrick Guerant Hermès: to make the club an important venue for French polo, combining conviviality and fair play.

One of my priorities is to ensure the quality of the fields that have made the Club’s reputation. During the off-season, all the Polo staff and Philippe Perrier’s team worked hard on maintaining them with our Green Keeper, and in particular on the complete re-sanding of the Honneur 1, No. 1, No. 2 and PGH 1 fields.

This month of September promises to be an eventful one, with many fringe tournaments related to the Paprec French Open (from 7 to 22 September) and the Castel Trophy (6/8 goals). For the eighth consecutive year, we will also be hosting the Women’s French Open (from 17 to 22 September). You can follow our news via the Club’s Instagram account and the Open games live on PoloLine TV.

This visibility is in line with our desire to further encourage the arrival of foreign teams; a dedicated position will be created for their reception, to meet their requests, and to ensure their comfort and the well-being of their horses.

But sport is nothing without the joy of gathering together to celebrate it, so I hope to see many of you at the Vendredis de Chantilly and the musical apéros polo drinks held every Friday in September during exhibition matches. During the Open, many exhibitors will liven up the Sports Village, and a new Tacos Bar is located at the edge of the fields. In addition, the new Orangery will allow us to organise more top-quality events and receptions on a more regular, year-round basis, bringing a new dynamic to this unique venue.

Last but not least, I would like to thank our loyal sponsors, who help us to create these events, as well as all the club’s staff, players, and fans, who are its lifeblood.
