Open féminin
Côtés femmes, quatre équipes sont pour l’instant engagées avec notamment la meilleure joueuse d’Argentine, Lia Salvo, pour le plus important tournoi féminin d’Europe qui, pour sa part, débutera le 17 septembre. L’opposition sera des plus solides avec un polo féminin français en forte progression. Lia et ses coéquipières devront par exemple affronter l’équipe « junior » issue du club et composée des trois sœurs Venot et qui avait fait une bonne entrée dans cet Open l’an dernier. L’icône argentine aura également fort à faire face à deux équipes allemandes, notamment Las Hermanitas, les sœurs Schröder, qui est allée se renforcer du côté de l’Angleterre avec la handicap 6 Rebecca Walter.
Le polo féminin est en plein boom et le Polo Club de Chantilly n’est pas étranger à ce phénomène !

Women’s Open Four teams are currently vying for the the title of the largest women’s tournament in Europe, which begins September 17th, including the best player in Argentina, Lia Salvo. Yet, she won’t be able to simply rest on her laurels, for the competition is strong with women’s polo being a highly trending sport in France today. For example, Lia and her teammates will have to face the club’s “junior” team, comprised of the three Venot sisters who had a notably good start in last year’s Open. The Argentinean icon will also be up against two German teams including Las Hermanitas with the Schröder sisters, reinforcing their team with the English feminine 6-goaler Rebecca Walter. Women’s polo is booming, and the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly is at the forefront of this phenomenon!
