L'Italie 🇮🇹 fait ses débuts dans la Polo Nations Cup 🏆🌍
Cinquième équipe révélée et première participation pour cette nation, l’Italie s’engage dans la Polo Nations Cup avec son capitaine Riccardo Paganelli, un amoureux et passionné du polo depuis plus de 10 ans.
Il sera associé à Jeronimo Fanelli, un architecte argentin renommé et joueur de polo professionnel, avec qui ils ont aussi conjointement commencé à développer une organisation de polo à grande échelle sous la marque Rinidia Polo, avec des infrastructures à Sienne en Toscane, la ville natale de Riccardo. Un nouveau programme d'élevage de haut niveau à Caspian Polo, General Rodriguez en Argentine est aussi en cours pour les deux associés.
Après avoir participé à la saison 2022, Riccardo Paganelli et Jeronimo Fanelli reviennent cette année à Chantilly pour jouer le 12 goals et l’Open de France. Ils participeront ainsi pour la première fois, tout comme la nation qu’ils représenteront, à la Polo Nations Cup.
L’idée de l’équipe a toujours été de s’associer à des joueurs qui partagent leurs valeurs et leur mentalité. Ils ont donc choisi de faire équipe cette année avec le jeune français Pierre Hamelin en pivot et l’argentin Nacho Kennedy en attaquant. Avec cette équipe compétitive et un soin tout particulier apporté à la qualité des chevaux en rapportant un très bon lot d'Argentine, il est certain que l’Italie sera rivaliser avec les autres équipes ! Italy 🇮🇹 makes its debut in the Polo Nations Cup 🏆🌍
The fifth team to be revealed and the first participation for this nation, Italy is entering the Polo Nations Cup with its captain Riccardo Paganelli, a polo enthusiast for over 10 years. He will be joined by Jeronimo Fanelli, a renowned Argentinian architect and professional polo player, with whom they have also jointly begun to develop a large-scale polo organisation under the Rinidia Polo brand, with facilities in Siena in Tuscany, Riccardo's home town. A new top-level breeding programme at Caspian Polo, General Rodriguez in Argentina is also underway for the two partners.
After taking part in the 2022 season, Riccardo Paganelli and Jeronimo Fanelli return to Chantilly this year to compete in the 12 goals and the Open de France. This will be the first time they and the nation they represent have taken part in the Polo Nations Cup.
The team's idea has always been to team up with players who share their values and mentality. They have therefore chosen to play this year with the young french player Pierre Hamelin as pivot and the argentinian Nacho Kennedy in attack. With this competitive team and the particular care taken over the quality of the horses, bringing back a very good lot from Argentina, it is certain that Italy will be able to compete with the other teams!
